On Wednesday, December 15, the BHA's Celebrating A Century event series will close with a REPRISE of Hollywood In The Heights, the beloved film montage, which Director Peter Hedges put together for the BHA and launched our Centennial series of events on January 20, 2010.
Back by popular demand, we are offering two screenings of our video montage of memorable exterior scenes from films shot in Brooklyn Heights. Just about everybody enjoys seeing their neighborhood on the big screen, and this fast moving montage will entertain you with a collection of movies spanning the decades between 1960 to 2010, taking us back to a time when ships still docked at Piers 1-5 and there were no chain stores yet on Montague Street!
There will be TWO screenings of this 35-minute montage, at 7 PM and again at 8 PM. Refreshments (sparkling cider and cookies) will be served after each screening.
Admission is free. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. (The auditorium capacity is 265 seats.) St. Francis College is located at 180 Remsen Street, between Clinton and Court Streets.
There is no need to rsvp. We suggest that you arrive about 15-20 minutes before the screening to allow time to get settled into your seats. You'll be given a ticket for the reception.
