Are you age 55+ and living in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus or Park Slope? If you are, you have an opportunity to participate in a project funded by the NY State Office for the Aging through Heights and Hills, a neighborhood organization that has been advocating for Brooklyn’s older adults for almost 40 years.
Some of your neighbors have been involved in developing a questionnaire that asks what you think would make your neighborhood more livable as you grow older. It’s all about being able to stay put, in a neighborhood you know, for as long as you wish. You are the new generation of older Americans, and your needs have to be made known.
The results of the survey will be invaluable to planners and to other public officials as they seek to find effective solutions for the future. The GREATER THE RESPONSE, the greater the impact. Please take a few minutes to answer this questionnaire.
Here’s all you need to do – click on the link below and answer the questions. There will be no follow-up and your personal information will not be shared. Click here to TAKE THE SURVEY.
A helpful hint for you as you complete the survey is to try to foresee any and all possible life situations you may experience in the future.
Thanks from Heights and Hills. If you have questions, you can contact Heights and Hills’ project coordinator Anne Perzeszty at anneper@verizon.net or 646-265-7835.
